Stomp is a high-energy, percussive symphony, coupled with dance, played entirely on unconventional instruments, such as garbage can lids, buckets, brooms and sticks. It is a movement, of bodies, objects, sounds - even abstract ideas, made completely original through the use of everyday objects in totally non-traditional ways.

Breakeven

I'm still alive but I'm barely breathing,

Just prayed to a god that I don't believe in,

'Coz I got time while she got freedom,

'Coz when a heart breaks

no it don't break even.

Her best days will be some of my worst,

She finally met a man that's gonna put her first,

While I'm wide awake, she's no trouble sleeping,

'Coz when a heart breaks

no it don't break even, even no.

What am I supposed to do when the best part of me was always you

What am I supposed to say when I'm all choked up and you're ok

I'm falling to pieces

I'm falling to pieces

They say bad things happen for a reason

But no wise words gonna stop the bleeding

'Coz she's moved on while I'm still grieving

And when a heart breaks

no it don't break even, even no.

What am I gonna do when the best part of me was always you

What am I supposed to say when I'm all choked up and you're ok

I'm falling to pieces, yeah

I'm falling to pieces, yeah

I'm falling to pieces

(One still in love

while the other one's leaving)

I'm falling to pieces,

(Cuz when a heart breaks

no it don't break even)

You got his heart and my heart and none of the pain,

You took your suitcase, I took the blame.

Now I'm tryna make sense of what little remains, oh.

'Coz you left me with no love, with no love to my name.

I'm still alive but I'm barely breathing,

Just prayed to a god that I don't believe in,

'Coz I got time while she got freedom,

'Coz when a heart breaks

no it don't break, no it don't

break, no it don't break even no.

What am I gonna do when the best part of me was always you

What am I supposed to say when I'm all choked up and you're ok

I'm falling to pieces, yeah

I'm falling to pieces, yeah

I'm falling to pieces,

(One still in love

while the other one's leaving)

I'm falling to pieces,

(Cuz when a heart breaks

no it don't break even)

Oh, it don't break even, no

Oh, it don't break even, no

Oh, It don't break even, no

A Date with "CATS"

A lot of musical plays are being staged in our country, but I think watching a broadway play with the international casts is a rare experience, so I have to give it a shot.

My gf and I watched CATS last night in the jampacked CCP. That was a showcase of talents with all the dancing & singing and the story-telling extravaganza.

Kudos to Lea!

Cook / Archuleta in Manila

That was a great show. Thanks for the complimentary tickets, we were able to witness two of the famous Davids in earth along with a thousands of people. David A. started the night with "Touch My Hand" as audience (especially the young ones) wooed their heart out. That kid can really play the piano, his "Angels" version is nice.

David C (or DC) entered with his guitar as the 2nd half of the show starts, (btw, the long fireworks were great).
His rendition of "The World I Know" was complimented with still wild audience. The much awaited "Always Be My Baby" was sung in the middle of his performance. Too bad, "Time of My Life" didn't got in line-up. Overall, worth it.

The DAVIDS!

The Final Set Concert!

A jampacked Mall of Asia concert ground with a hundred thousand of people or more witnessed the last show of Eraserheads last night. It was a big hit and I was part of it.

3 sets and a bonus round of partying made the crowd wild.

The funny line "di ko sasabihin sa'yo" is priceless as Marcus sung Huwag Mo Nang Itanong (he changed some lyrics, even the beat of the song). The energetic Raymund made his shot and a little bit of words from Buddy. Even if Ely was some kind in his relax mode, the guys still kept the ground rockin'. A few lines with "Kaleidoscope World" did some drama as the group pays tribute to the late Francis M. The latter part with fireworks display was great and the burning of piano made the place even more hot.

Anne Curtis appearance on the screen (with the famous headband) added excitement to the people (as well as the not so pretty girl, hehe).

The Final Set!

Let the continuation begin...

Fresh from last year's smashed hit "bitin" reunion, The Final Set will be on March 7, 2009 at the Mall of Asia concert grounds. (Finally, maririnig ulit kantahin ni Ely ang 'Ang Huling El Bimbo'). I was listening in Magic last week, DJ Mo said this will be the last concert of the group together, ever! (The Final Set in the Final show).

I'm still thinking on how much I'm gonna spend for the ticket (or will I watch the show?) since I missed the first part.
