Sucks !

I'm old (not so-old) and never attended a single Halloween party. (Di pa yata uso yan nung kabataan ko). Next year I will include that on my "things to do" list.

Just noticed, vampires are all famous now.

The Sandwich Guy

An alarming email from The Sandwich Guy customer was circulating the internet stating his bad experience with this food station, but that was a year ago. ( I don't even know if that was for real or if the case was resolved).

It's my first taste of the product (since I was hesitant to buy their sandwich maybe because of the article..) but I can say it's good, and I'm craving for more ...

Run . . .

Fun Run is everywhere. Got your nice pair of running shoes?

Running Shoes to Run Away From

By ThirdAge News Staff

Running shoes can sometimes cost an arm and a leg (or a foot), but new research has found the best shoes aren’t necessarily the most expensive.

The New York Times spoke with Rami J. Abboud, director of the Institute of Motion Analysis and Research at the University of Dundee in Scotland.

Abboud says: “The perception is that if you pay more, you will get better shoes...our research did not show that.”

Rather, it seems a shoe that fits correctly is the best option, particularly for runners.

A Banapple Treat!

A lot of food posts for this month. I want to gain a little more weight (that's actually my long time goal), but I think my metabolism works fast. So more food for me ...

We dropped by at Banapple, (I had no idea of this one, it was my first time in here)

They have a large serving, the good thing is ... prices are affordable.

Good Times with Italiannis ...

I am italian food lover, I can eat pizza and pasta all day long!

We dined at Italiannis last weekend at Eastwood Mall. The service was warm. Our table was on the veranda side of the place overlooking the fountain swaying with the beat of a nice music.

Foods are excellent!

The Cigar Guy!

A photo of this man is getting so much attention around the globe ...

A photographer for the Daily Mail got an amazing picture at the Ryder Cup of Tiger Woods flubbing a shot headed directly at the camera. He didn't duck and Tiger's golf ball actually hit the lens — but not before the image was captured midflight. The photo has been seen around the world.

But that's not what's captivating the Web. It's the amazingly unique look of the fan standing just to the right of Tiger's shoulder, chomping on a cigar, wearing a turban-like brown hat, and sporting a thick, Groucho Marx–style mustache. The spectator just steals the show.

And just like that, the "Cigar Guy" Internet star was born. The mystery man has been inserted in pictures and shared around the Web. Yahoo! searches for the mustachioed golf fan twirled up 675% in just one day. Searches were also popular on "Cigar Guy," "cigar guy ryder cup," and "cigar guy tiger woods."

Dinner at Cajun Red Rock

A bit small but Cajun Red Rock's place in SM Megamall is well maintained.

We ordered Red butter squid & shrimp and platter feast (photos below). Serving is good enough for 2-3 persons, and the taste ... nice!
