The Promotion

Haven't heard the movie "The Promotion"? It's a story of a man who just wanted to have this stability in life as he begin to form his own family, self-fulfillment and how to overcome those struggling days as he goes on with his journey.

The movie is quite good in perhaps uplifting one's desire to move on with his life, on coping with situations as you encounter different individual and dealing with your competitor for the job as what the main character encountered. Fine acting with the casts lead by Sean William-Scott. Politics, relationship with co-workers even a trouble sometimes are given in a dayjob, but what important is believing in yourself, do your tasks,and stick to the right thing. With that, your job promotion is not far away.

American Idol Season 8 Result

The dark horse of the competition and the underdog over the crowd favorite Adam Lambert, Kris Allen crowned as new American Idol. With 100 million total of votes in this year finale, the show was jampacked along with great musicians including Rod Stewart, Queen, etc.

That was a great show. Thanks for the complimentary tickets, we were able to witness two of the famous Davids in earth along with a thousands of people. David A. started the night with "Touch My Hand" as audience (especially the young ones) wooed their heart out. That kid can really play the piano, his "Angels" version is nice.


David C (or DC) entered with his guitar as the 2nd half of the show starts, (btw, the long fireworks were great).
His rendition of "The World I Know" was complimented with still wild audience. The much awaited "Always Be My Baby" was sung in the middle of his performance. Too bad, "Time of My Life" didn't got in line-up. Overall, worth it.
