Worst!

I’m done watching Skyline and not impressed. Their movie poster is nice but doesn’t compliment with the movie itself. I just downloaded it for free anyway.
It’s frustrating kapag lumabas ka sa sinehan tapos disappointed ka sa pinanood mo. Imagine the freaking cost of watching a movie nowadays.
Kaya naisip ko lang mag-search ng hindi worth panoorin.

The Spirit Within

This was my second entry to last year’s photography contest in our office with a theme of “Bayanihan, The Modern Perspective”. Don’t expect too much on my work, sabi ko nga sa first post ko, try lang ‘to.

It’s just good to see how people put an effort to reach their goal.

Kung sama-sama, kayang kaya …

'Success lies within our hands. Enforcing the hardwork of the two parties to strengthen the common goal shadows the real spirit of Bayanihan. Every action propelled with the strong arms of determination against the wind of obstacle resembles the beginning of the peak of the journey.  Amidst the deep of nowhere, the sunlight will guide to continue exploring the right track'

The SPIRAL Experience

Dining in a buffet style restaurant is always a nice experience. The choices of different food cuisine add the thrill and make the stay more enjoyable. I think my appetite level is getting high.

I heard a lot about Spiral in Sofitel. The price is a bit high pero ok lang, worth it ang 5-star services nila. Ladies in the reception area were nice. Medyo tumitingala ako sa kanila, ang tatangkad (and distract with the long slit in their dress, haiikks!)

Being Somebody

The world is fast changing.

Living to this is a challenge.

Yes we have our time, the time to shine. All we need is hard works. Aim high and strive for the better!

Even if we're just a freaking and struggling individual, we want to be a star. We all have big dreams. Every time you get rejected in line for some fancy club with overpriced mojitos, you have, at one point, wanted to be more than Nobody. That rejection thing helps a lot in conquering yourself and become stronger in life.

Start Small, Move Up The Ladder and tomorrow that nobody will become somebody.

  • You have to work at becoming somebody.
  • One way to become a somebody is to become an expert.
  • Maintain your hidden agenda and stay in touch with contacts
Seeing things from the ground floor up lets you see what it takes to distinguish yourself from the cafones around you."

You want to get noticed? You want to stand out from the crowd? Have some unique "thing" people remember you by."

I'm just trying to figure out what's the story behind this photo. This guy is really exerting his effort just to see what's happening inside.

Ang sabi nga e likas na tsismoso/tsismosa ang mga tao.

Now I am curious what's in there.

What do you think?

* Sorry for this lazy and crazy post. Blame it to the idea that this one can be entertaining.

Effiinnn..

It was cited on my last post about children that they are the nation's future of tomorrow. Mukhang kumukontra tong isang 'to.

This is something alarming.

Rockin'

We were hurried just to catch the farewell concert of the now disbanded SUGARFREE at Eastwood City. I’ve been listening to them for the past years. Their music is great, but goodbye is not forever. As Ebe Dancel said, (band’s frontman) we will definitely see him again. I heard he’ll be doing solo.
We arrived early. Tamang tama pwede pang kumain!

Dining at Uncle Cheffy is a nice experience. The place has a cozy environment, good enough for some bonding and chill-out moments. The displayed artworks are great. They have a small function room for a group reservation. I commend this one.

Let's eat now.

 Uncle Cheffy Steak
Grilled and roasted U.S. Rib Eye, with marble potato and salad.

Uncle Cheffy Favorites Panizza
Oven dried tomatoes, mushroom garlic, anchovy, chili flakes, basil and 3 cheese
Solb!

Back with the band. The show started late. Every performance made the crowd got up to their feet. A lot of dramas went on as the group bids goodbye. I saw other popular band members in the audience. It’s nice to see how they support each other music journey.

Umulan nga pala ng malakas, thanks to our wide umbrella.

Future in the Eyes Of Innocence

I am reposting this photo which I had taken a year ago as my entry for our company's photography contest. The theme was a modern perspective for "Bayanihan".

I have no background in photography. It's just fun hitting the shutter and capture things or  great moment like the one below. Isn't it nice watching those kids playing together? Somehow, this would make you smile. (Hanep, lumambot ang puso!)

I just tried. I understand why my entry didn't make through.

This is entitled "Future in the eyes of Innocence"
 (some words..)

I think the development of child's growth to be a better individual has a great impact in conquering the world of tomorrow. Working and playing together with unity have this strong component in the Bayanihan way of living. A free environment has a lot to offer for them to embark the journey for a better future. Just look upon their eyes, you know that a soaring eagle has come to unleash.
