WET PANTS

Napulot ko sa inbox ko at somehow may sense to. You can leave your thoughts about the story.

Come with me to a third grade classroom..... There is a nine-year-old kid sitting at his desk and all of
a sudden, there is a puddle between his feet and
the front of his pants are wet.
He thinks his
heart is going to stop because he cannot
possibly imagine how this has happened. It's
never happened before, and he knows that when
the boys find out he will never hear the end of
it. When the girls find out, they'll never speak
to him again as long as he
lives.

The boy
believes his heart is going to stop; he puts his
head down and prays this prayer,
'Dear God, this
is an emergency! I need help now!
Five minutes
from now I'm dead meat.'

He looks up from his prayer and here comes the teacher with a look in her eyes that says he has been
discovered.

As the teacher is walking toward him, a class mate named Susie is carrying a goldfish bowl that is filled with water. Susie trips in front of the teacher and inexplicably dumps the bowl of water in the boy's lap.

The boy pretends to be angry, but all the while is saying to himself, 'Thank you, Lord! Thank you, Lord!'

Now all of a sudden, instead of being the object of ridicule, the boy is the object of sympathy. The teacher rushes him downstairs and gives him gym shorts to put on while his pants dry out. All the other children are on their hands and knees cleaning up around his desk. The sympathy is wonderful. But as life would have it, the ridicule that should have been his has been transferred to someone else -
Susie.

She tries to help, but they tell her to get out.

Finally, at the end of the day, as they are waiting for the bus, the boy walks over to Susie and whispers, 'You did that on purpose, didn't you?' Susie whispers back, 'I wet my pants once too.'

(Sorry Susie, I feel for you hehe!)

Here’s the thing:
Allow yourself to see the opportunities that are always around
us to do good...

Each and everyone one of us is going through tough times
right now, but God is getting ready to bless you
in a way that only He can. Keep the
faith.

The Lesson Plan

It was one scary night. Damn, someone was really following me. I ran as fast as I could. I was heading a familiar place and suddenly there was this light that almost blinded my eyes. Then, silence.

As I opened my eyes, shit! I was dreaming. Sunlight was passing through my window and that irritated my eyes. Thanks God I’m back in a real world and what, I’m getting late. (pano na ‘yung promise ko na di na male-late) I took a shower for just 10 minutes, dressed up a little while then shoot! Everybody was in a hurry. Malas ko, iniiwasan ko pa nman ang rush hour. I heard someone talking, “kung oras mo na mamamatay ka talaga” .  (Weeeeee?)

I remember the recent news wasn’t good. With all the accidents and the said terrorism attack here in the metro, I must say “ayoko pa mamatay”, I want to be safe. Na-experience ko na madukutan ng phone not once but twice! I was guarded by 4 to 5 goon-like men, took my phone and before I knew it, they were gone. It happened that fast. Kaya medyo alert na’ko ngayon and that’s important, sabi nga sa commercial, Ingat! Plan 1 – Be Careful.

You have to put an extra effort to at least prevent things for making that worse. Being conscious with what’s going on in your environment is always associated in preventions, and that’s Plan 2 – Be Aware.

I heard our government is strengthening the Police Force. Having the not so good impressions about the policemen in here, that’s a nice step. So you can rely to them during those times. Pwedeng maiwasan ang aksidente kung sana ang lahat ay marunong sumunod sa batas. ‘Yung simpleng pagsunod sa traffic lights at sa tamang tawiran, pasok ‘yan! Plan 3 – Abide the Law.

For us to obey the law, we should know our responsibility as an individual and as a citizen. And I think I know what is lacking, Plan 4 – Be Disciplined.

May the good Lord guide us! That’s Plan 5 – Pray. (It should be on top actually).

Di nga pala ako na-late.
