A Good Year!

I am supposed to be back at work starting yesterday but this is the season na masarap maglakwatsa at matulog so bakasyon muna. I just filed a 2-day leave. (ayos!)

Our high school reunion was cancelled. (nawala tuloy excitement ko, ayaw makisama ng weather dito) Not to mention, I was having a problem with my broadband connection.

Btw, 2010 was a good year to me. A lot of things I have to thank for and looking forward for a great year(s) ahead. Welcome 2011! Greet ko kayo ng maaga,

Too bad, I didn't get any from our party raffle. I still hope a good fortune is coming my way for another party tomorrow.

Pero syempre may good news, we just won the group presentation! Our hand mime production got judges’ attention (fyi, 3 groups lang kami hehe!). Almost every year, I participate with such event (active ‘to). Sulit naman, maybe next year graduate na ko dito. Cash prize of P15K is not bad for 20 something group members.

Money!

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) just launched the redesigned Philippine bank notes including the 500 peso bill with the late Senator Ninoy Aquino. Joining the image is his wife, the late President Cory Aquino.

This is nice, I hope the happy mode images will bring good luck to everyone.

All six denominations — P20, P50, P100, P200, P500, and P1,000 — have new designs and security features (security for fake bills).

The DOH warned us to watch our diet this christmas season, but how can you resist those foods in the table! Buti na lang I have my run activity. Besides 'di pa nangyayari yung long time goal ko - I want to gain more weight.

How To Make ice in 5 seconds

I just found this video (maybe you’ve seen this already). Making ice in freaking 5 seconds? I haven’t tried yet. I don’t know what the scientific explanation is. Science was not on my top subjects list during school days. (But I have high grades in Social Studies and Filipino!) Makabayan to!

Waking up in a Sunday morning as early as 3-4am is exhausting. Maybe I got used to it already. I started running a few months ago and yes it’s nice, it boosts my energy (that I think). Besides I am into the idea that a regular running slows down aging. (un!) So here we go.

Pacquiao won a unanimous one-sided decision in a blowout from the opening seconds of the fight to capture the World Boxing Council super welterweight title before 41,734 in-awe fans at Cowboys Stadium.

Pacquiao’s title belt, coming against an opponent who had a 17-pound weight advantage when the bell rang, 165-148, was the eighth in his illustrious career. Pacquiao has won world titles at 112, 122, 126, 130, 135, 140, 147 and now 154 pounds.

Judges Jurgen Langos had it 120-109, Glen Crocker had it 118-110 and Oren Schellenberger had it 119-109 for Pacquiao. Yahoo! Sports scored it 120-107 for Pacquiao, giving Pacquiao a 10-8 edge in the 10th round when he dominated tremendously. Read more
